Holy moley do I love this bride. I am beyond lucky that Lauren is not only a client, but has become my consistent brunch buddy. (Seriously, we LOVE mimosas and LOVE brunch). But her wedding will forever be one for the books. Lauren and Josh got married at her mom’s lakehouse, with the ceremony on the boat dock. Lauren and Josh wanted their ceremony to be special and intimate, and chose to have only the two of them and their officiant on the dock itself. (They also weren’t even miked – they wanted their vows to be heard just between the two of them. Is that not the sweetest?) The other 100 plus guests watched from the backyard, and I have to say, it was a ceremony I will never forget. Then, right as dinner was finishing up, I paused (NEVER HAPPENS ON A WEDDING DAY) to look over the lake while the sun was setting. I almost teared up because of how beautiful the occasion was for Lauren and Josh and all of their loved ones. Seriously, you can’t beat weddings like these.
Lauren and Josh, thank you for your hearts and how this day poured into my soul. And Lauren, let’s obviously do brunch soon, duh?
Thank you so much to Style Me Pretty for featuring this on their amazing blog!

O.M.G. I am in love!!! I truly believe that this wedding was my absolute favorite to plan and coordinate! Lauren and Josh are the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I was so proud to have been a part of such a special day in their lives! And can I just say, that sunset… To die for!!!! 🙂
Great pictures!!! My favorite is the one of Lauren with the serious face looking down and Josh kissing her cheek. Too cute.
Jessica — this wedding was a DREAM and you are my DREAM photographer!!!!!! I cannot wait until September! You are so talented!!!
